The Proserpine Caravan Park is located
approximately 5 km west of the Bruce Highway in Anzac Road Proserpine.
Shady powered and unpowered sites are available
for caravans, together with a spacious camping area. Facilities include a modern
amenities block complete with laundry incorporating washing machines and cloths
dryers.
Directly adjacent to the park is the Proserpine
Memorial Heated Pool Complex which has a 50m Olympic sized pool, toddlers pool
and mid sized 'Training Pool'.
A kiosk is attended on site from 6am to
6pm Mon-Fri and 10am to 6pm on weekends.
Lawn Bowls, Golf Course, RSL, Hotels and
Shopping complexes are all nearby and the picturesque Proserpine Lake with picnic
grounds is just 20 km to the west.
Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour provide
the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and are located just 26 & 35 km respectively
to the west.
